Beliefs.
Creed.
Creed comes from the Latin “crēdō” which means “I believe.” It is a statement of core doctrines that represent the heart of Christian teaching and belief. The Nicene Creed has been the standard of orthodox belief for Christians worldwide for centuries.
Confession.
We adhere to a modified form of the New Hampshire Confession of Faith. This historical Baptist confession was written around 1833 and has been widely accepted by Baptists over the past 200 years.
Covenant.
Whereas creeds and confessions define our orthodoxy (right belief), the church covenant is concerned with orthopraxy (right action). It is a statement of the commitments and responsibilities of church membership.
Principles.
We are Southern Baptist and fully affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) in addition to our own confession.
