Our Principles.

We are Southern Baptist and fully affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) in addition to our own confession.

Coram Deo Baptist Church is committed to the following principles:

Gospel Focused

The Gospel is the central message of our faith, God’s gracious offer of salvation from the judgement due our sins through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ received by faith and repentance and leading to the redemptive reign of God in our lives.

Bible Saturated

We believe that the Scriptures are God-breathed, useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.  The Scriptures are divinely inspired and sit above all other sources of authority.  As such, it is the standard by which all belief, conduct, and doctrine should be tried.

Christ Centered

The Christian faith is not first and foremost about a principle or doctrine.  It is about a person: Jesus Christ, the son of God.  He sits at the right hand of God the Father as our Prophet, Priest, and King and is worthy of our worship, obedience, and devotion.

Discipleship Oriented

As a fulfillment of the Great Commission, we believe every member is called to be a disciple and a disciple-maker.  This is done in the context of God’s people embodied in the local church.
